  8.         Reality Software is a small husband and wife
  9. company devoted to the publication of two product 
  10. lines. 1) We publish quality e-books for DOS and 
  11. Windows in ancient\medieval history and the history of 
  12. religion. These books represent original, scholarly 
  13. research and are designed for thinking adults. These 
  14. books represent an attempt at original synthesis from 
  15. the literature and some of the writing is at journal 
  16. level. They are definitely not school-oriented software 
  17. nor New Age fluff. 2) We have begun release of a large 
  18. series of Windows screen savers and photo CD-ROM 
  19. collections that feature archival, royalty free photography.        
  20.     
  21.     All Windows e-books come with REPLICA, an 
  22. application independent viewing system which 
  23. bypasses the need for a word processor. REPLICA is 
  24. easily installed into WIN 3.1 or WFW 3.11 and can 
  25. then be used to view and print the electronic 
  26. books. Full instructions are included. For those of 
  27. you who may be interested in our products and do not 
  28. have a high-end Windows system, notice that several 
  29. books are available with a superb document viewing 
  30. interface for DOS (BigText) that in the latest version 
  31. (1.3) incorporates graphics to produce illustrated 
  32. electronic books. We offer a money back guarantee: if 
  33. you do not find a book captivating and interesting, 
  34. return your disk(s) for a full-no questions-asked, 
  35. refund. Assume all disks are high density.

  37.         The first two volumes in our series of Windows 
  38. screen savers that feature archival transportation photography 
  39. have just been released. Both volumes feature images scanned 
  40. from our private collection of 19th century locomotives. The 
  41. photos are quite rare, in most cases single prints made by 
  42. early photographers and collectors. With a handful of 
  43. exceptions, none have ever been published before in any 
  44. medium and then only many decades ago at very low resolution. 
  45. The shareware versions of each screen saver contain four 
  46. images, the registered versions fifteen. There is no 
  47. duplication among the collections and each graphics file is 
  48. 8 bit, 256 grey scale, TIFF. Design pros take note: the 
  49. graphics files in both the shareware and registered versions 
  50. are royalty free! At a cost of $1 or less per image, such a 
  51. license is a bargain. Stock photography agencies typically 
  52. charge $100 or more per image for commercial licenses.

  57.     1) Explore the Origins of Mythology with 
  58. hunter-gatherers in the Upper Paleolithic and Indians in 
  59. the Amazon. Available in an illustrated Windows version

  69. material is based extensively on the breakthrough work of 
  70. Marija Gimbutas. Several hypotheses are presented about
  71. iconography and metaphor which are drawn from realms as diverse 
  72. as evolutionary biology and the marine zoology of megafauna in 
  73. the dark abyss of the deep ocean. Available for DOS only.

  75.      3) Early Myth and The Goddess in Ancient China is a 
  76. discussion of the feminine in Shang and Chou Dynasty myth and the
  77. central role played by the Myth of the Sacred Mulberry Tree (Fu
  78. Sang). Major use is made of recent publications by Birrell and 
  79. Allen and there are also discussions of archeology, Manchu 
  80. shamanism and possible commonalities with Western metaphor.

  97. exceptionally deep about tantra; gnosticism; the sacred horse 
  98. ritual; the saga of the doomsday mare; the first appearance,

  103. ancient and early medieval history for the period 12,000 B.C.

  114. and fascinating collection of early locomotives scanned from rare
  115. photographs as described above. The highlight of this
  116. collection is a photograph taken in the yard of a locomotive 
  117. manufacturing company. This product is published as a screen
  118. saver for Windows on three HD disks and each graphics file is 
  119. royalty free.

  121.         2) Trains2: 19th Century Locomotives Vol.2 features 
  122. fifteen all different, rare images of 19th century locomotives. 
  123. The highlight of this collection is an extraordinary photograph 
  124. of a narrow gauge logging locomotive with crew taken in a swamp

  129. of bears in which aspects of transformation and myth are 
  130. explored. Included are five rare photos of the Ainu Bear Ritual, 
  131. last practiced on the northern Japanese Island of Hokkaido in the 
  132. 1920's, and 10 spectacular visionary paintings in color. This 
  133. product is distributed as a screen saver for Windows on three HD 
  134. disks and each graphics file is royalty free.

  138.         Shareware versions of e-books contain introductory materials, 
  139. a brief preview of the main text, and in some cases a glossary. Each 
  140. also contains a packaged reader (explained above - BigText or Replica) 
  141. which might be of interest to those involved with the technology of 
  142. producing and disseminating e-books. The approach to the Windows 
  143. versions obviates the need for a user to have any word processor 
  144. and allows for a highly designed text. Registration brings the full

  254. to download. Their download limit per day for non-members is 360K.  
  255. This download limit will allow you to acquire our DOS shareware
  256. via FTP. It will not allow for FTP of Windows shareware, the file
